Home Grid Freedom Video Review: What the Video Found
A written companion to the Is This For You? video on Home Grid Freedom: seven modules, the unverified army tech claim, the $39 price and the vendor's 60 day window.
The short version
- The video scores Home Grid Freedom 82 out of 100 and says recommend, for a hands-on learner who wants to build a backup power system.
- The video could not verify the claim of cells 500 times more efficient than solar. It calls the army tech angle more hook than hard science.
- The vendor's page lists one price: $39 one-time, shown beside a struck-through $89. The video quoted no price and mentioned several packages.
- The vendor's terms of use give you 60 days from delivery to return it. The video did not give a window.
- No one-on-one coaching is included. You work from the material and your own problem solving.
The video gives Home Grid Freedom 82 out of 100 and says recommend. It also says you should not trust the headline claim of cells 500 times more efficient than solar. This page lays out both halves, so you can decide with the facts in front of you.

The embedded video is the full review from the Is This For You? channel. It runs 14 minutes 18 seconds. The notes below follow it.
What the video shows
- What it is. A training program, not a box. The video says the sales material never shows a physical product or a format. The pitch is a technology the page says was kept secret for 30 years.
- The company. The video lists an address in Boise, Idaho, and says it launched in September 2020. The vendor’s page says the creator name, Michael Morris, is a pen name.
- What buyers say. Some say they finally understand how a backup energy system works. A few say the instructions were clearer than they expected. Others say the build was harder than the page made it sound, and a couple wanted more hand-holding.
- The seven modules. The secret technology, energy fundamentals, your first build, scaling up, sourcing parts on a budget, maintenance and troubleshooting, and off-grid integration.
- The best module. The video picks sourcing parts on a budget. It says affordable parts are the real bottleneck, so you save the most time here.
- The weakest module. The first one. The video says its evidence is thin because the premise rests on the vendor’s word.
- Safety. The last module covers connecting a system to your home’s wiring. The video says the course flags the risk. Take that step slowly.
What the vendor’s page says
We read the sales page on 2026-10-07. Here is what you will find on it.
- Price. The page shows “Today’s Price: Only $89 $39” as a one-time payment, with the $89 struck through. It also says “Instant Download”.
- Your 60 days. The terms of use give you 60 days from delivery to return it. That is the vendor’s wording, so read the terms yourself before you buy.
- Claims. A pop-up on the page promises to “slash 93% off your power bills”. We cannot verify that figure. Do not count on it.
- A mismatch. The same pop-up lists battery reconditioning topics. They do not match a home energy course. Ask yourself what that says about how the page was built.
- Testimonials. The page says its testimonials do not reflect the typical buyer’s experience.
Where the video and the page differ
- Packages. The video says there are several package options. The page we read shows one price, $39.
- The window. The video gave no number. The vendor’s terms say 60 days from delivery.
- Where the wording sits. The video says it is on the support page. We found it in the terms of use.
When the video and the page disagree, go with the page and the checkout screen.
What the video concludes
Recommend, for the hands-on learner who wants to understand energy independence from the ground up. The video says the course gives you a step-by-step path from fundamentals to a full build. It also says the army tech angle is marketing.
Where to be careful
- The efficiency claim. The video says nobody has verified it. Do not buy for that reason.
- Your power bill. The video says this course helps you reduce dependence and build a backup. It does not promise a zero bill.
- Parts cost. The video says cost varies with how far you scale up. Budget for parts on top of the course.
- Support. No one-on-one coaching is included. You work from the material and your own problem solving.
How this compares with our other pages
The video sets Home Grid Freedom against the Hendershot Power Generator, the Searl effect generator, the big-name Energizer and the Orgone motor. It says Home Grid Freedom is the one built as a structured program. For another take on grid-down prep, read our Power Switch review and our Blackout Protocol review. Who should skip it
Skip it if you want a done-for-you system that arrives ready to plug in. Skip it if you need the army tech claim proven. Skip it if you have no time to build.
Where to buy
If you want to build it yourself, the vendor sells Home Grid Freedom directly. Read the current price and the 60 day return terms on the vendor page first. Get it now → This is an affiliate link, so we earn a commission if you buy.
